Wrexham have agreed a multi-year deal for Firefox to become the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor from 2026-27, replacing United Airlines.
According to NY Times, the partnership spans the men’s and women’s teams across home, away and third kits, and also makes Firefox Wrexham’s official web browser partner.
Fans will first see the new strip in this weekend’s friendly at Wisla Krakow in Poland. “We are thrilled to welcome Firefox as our new front-of-kit partner,” said Mac and Reynolds in a joint statement. “We love an underdog story, and both Wrexham and Firefox know the feeling of having to battle giants.”
“Partnering with Wrexham is a natural fit,” said John Solomon, Mozilla’s chief marketing officer.
Firefox becomes the second major kit agreement announced in recent weeks, after Nex Playground was unveiled as sleeve sponsor to replace HP. No financial terms were disclosed.
Commercial growth has underpinned Wrexham’s climb, with last season’s seventh-place Championship finish the best in their history. In 2024-25 total revenue was £33.35 million, including £17.3 million from sponsorship, up from £13.1 million, compared with £1.05 million in 2021-22.
The Firefox-branded home shirt will launch on the USA tour, where Wrexham face Leeds United in Tampa, Liverpool in New York and Sunderland in Philadelphia after flying on July 22. A new back-of-shirt sponsor is expected before the season, and the stadium will revert to The Racecourse Ground as SToK’s naming deal ends.
