Both clubs have a lot on the line and will be seeking victory to aid their bid to gain promotion to the Premier League.

The Red Dragons are firmly in the mix for a play-off place, with the team occupying the final spot inside the top six going into the final round of fixtures.

Meanwhile, Kim Hellberg’s side still have an outside chance of sealing a top two finish that would earn them automatic promotion back to the top flight.

Wrexham are fighting for a remarkable fourth promotion in a row after coming straight from the National League through League Two and League One in the last three campaigns.

Meanwhile, Boro haven’t competed in the Premier League since 2017, and their last top six finish came under Michael Carrick in 2023.

Wrexham will host Middlesbrough on Saturday with a full slate of fixtures all set to get underway at the same time.

Phil Parkinson’s side will be broadcast on Sky Sports+ as they look to seal a top six finish in their first year in the Championship.

The game will kick-off at 12.30pm at the Racecourse Ground, with pre-match coverage starting at 11.30am.

There will be a full hour of build-up to the final fixtures of the season, with the promotion battle taking most of the focus.

Coventry City have already sealed automatic promotion and the second division title, and all three relegated spots have been decided.

That has left second down to sixth as the final spaces to be determined, with Boro one of three clubs capable of earning a top two finish.

Meanwhile, Wrexham face competition from Hull City and Derby County in the battle for the final play-off place.

Sky Sports+ can be accessed with a subscription to Sky Sports through your TV provider, while the Sports package on NOW TV will also be broadcasting the game in the UK.

Supporters in the United States can follow the fixture on Paramount+, with coverage set to get underway at 7.30am EST.

With all 12 games taking place at the same time, viewers in both the UK and the US will be able to switch over to see what is happening around the grounds, with all 12 fixtures available under the same broadcaster.

Wrexham will go into the game having won two of their last three games, while Middlesbrough have won their last two in a row to maintain their place in the automatic promotion battle.

The Red Dragons must win in order to ensure their top six finish, and goal difference could yet play a major role in determining the outcome of the final table.

Parkinson’s side are level on points with Hull, but are only one goal better than the Tigers, while Derby are a point behind in eighth.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough will need to win to have any chance of leapfrogging both Millwall and Ipswich.
