Xabi Alonso has come out against FIFA’s latest project.
According to L'Équipe, he set out his stance in a pre-match press conference.

The remarks came ahead of a friendly against Tottenham on Saturday at 11:45.
The proposal has already been strongly criticised by the Chelsea head coach.
Alonso’s comments place him alongside the Chelsea manager in rejecting the plan.
