Barcelona welcomed Espanyol at the Nou Camp earlier this evening as they looked to secure a good result at home in La Liga. The Catalan club made a decent start to the game and scored the opener in the ninth minute thanks to Ferran Torres’ effort. Torres doubled his side’s advantage in the 25th minute as Barcelona went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Pol Lozano got a goal back for the visitors in the 56th minute. However, Lamine Yamal killed the game off in the 87th minute before Marcus Rashford got his name on the scoresheet as well just a couple of minutes later. The match ended with Barcelona securing a dominant 4-1 win at the Nou Camp.

LB: Alejandro Balde – 6/10

He got stuck in with a couple of solid tackles and was substituted after the hour mark.

CM: Eric Garcia – 7.5/10

Garcia anchored the midfield well and made two good chances in the final third.

CM: Pedri – 8/10

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and ran the show inside the opponent’s half.

RW: Lamine Yamal – 10/10

Yamal was unstoppable on the right flank and managed to create two goals and score one goal tonight.

CAM: Gavi – 6.5/10

He managed to shine at times, but there was no goal for him.

LW: Fermin Lopez – 7/10

He got stuck in with a few solid tackles and was a real menace in the final third.
