All signs point to Real Madrid targeting RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande for the wing, rather than Michael Olise, with a fee around €100 million.

The remarks in question came in 2025 after a 3-2 defeat to Madrid, when in the 94th minute he believed he should have had a penalty, but the referee did not award it.

"Creo que la actuación del árbitro fue mala porque no fue falta a Mbappé en el gol, tampoco fue penalti... Pero el Real Madrid siempre es así", he said, speaking to El Chiringuito.

Diomande has since surged in value, having moved from Leganés to RB Leipzig only a year ago.

The Ivorian forward could now represent Real Madrid next season, a switch that has been widely mooted.
