Yarek wins Eredivisie title with PSV

Yarek Gasiorowski has been crowned Eredivisie champion with PSV Eindhoven after Feyenoord slipped against Volendam on Sunday. He did not need to feature on the day the title was sealed.
According to Superdeporte, the former Valencia centre-back is in his first PSV season. PSV did their part on Saturday, beating Utrecht 4-3, then waited for their closest chasers to stumble.
The Eindhoven club have claimed a third successive title with five rounds remaining. Their dominance is underlined by a 17-point lead over Feyenoord and 23 over Ajax.
Gasiorowski started in the win over Utrecht. He has played 23 of the 29 league rounds to date, scoring three goals and supplying one assist.
He has logged 1,694 Eredivisie minutes and appeared in seven Champions League matches. Since joining, he has made 33 official appearances.
The Polinyà del Xúquer defender is also a Spain under-21 regular.
