Yasu Wöhrn suffers serious knee injury

“The news is a shock to us. We will miss Yasu very much. For the upcoming surgery, we wish her all the best and lots of strength for the months ahead. We will support her as best we can on her way back onto the pitch,” says sporting director Ralf Kellermann.

Coach Markus Högner also laments the central defender’s absence: “The diagnosis is very tough. Yasu had a very good preseason and was in great form. This diagnosis is simply bitter, and we wish her nothing but the very best.”
