Yaya Soumaré joins Limonest for a fresh start

According to Le Progres, Yaya Soumaré has joined FC Limonest, a National club, this summer for a fresh start.

The 26-year-old, a rangy midfielder, once looked equipped to carve out a place at the highest professional level.

Developed at Les Minguettes until he was 14 to 15, he then moved to OL, signing a professional deal in 2020 and making four senior appearances.

The young winger subsequently moved from club to club on loans, with or without options to buy, adapting from Ligue two to National one.

His path has included spells from Dijon to Annecy.
