Yéhvann Diouf and Antoine Mendy back in OGC Nice training after AFCON triumph | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Senegal’s Yéhvann Diouf and Antoine Mendy were back in OGC Nice training on Friday morning after their AFCON success.

The pair returned to Nice on Wednesday, then watched their side beat Go Ahead Eagles 3-1 in the Europa League at the Allianz Riviera on Thursday night.

Mendy started Sunday’s Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco and went off with cramps, so he followed an individual, adapted programme on his return.

Diouf trained as normal with the goalkeepers and also took part in an internal practice match with team-mates.

Both players are in contention for a place in the squad for Sunday’s trip to Nantes, 15:00.
