Yerson Mosquera has urged Wolves fans to keep faith after loud boos greeted a home draw with 10-man Sunderland at Molineux. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the defender sent a message to supporters amid growing unrest.

The hosts fell behind early on Saturday, then Sunderland’s Dan Ballard was sent off for pulling Tolu Arokodare’s hair. Santi Bueno levelled with a second-half header.

Despite chances to win it, frustration grew. Substitutions were booed and, after Wolves failed to find a winner, anger was directed at the players and manager Rob Edwards at full time.

Back from suspension, Mosquera accepted fans had cause to be frustrated, thanked them for travelling and backing the side, and asked them to keep believing for the remainder of the season. He said the squad would try to be at their best for the supporters and noted results have not gone their way. He also spoke of wanting to push on next season, while again offering thanks.

Assessing the draw, he felt facing 10 can be trickier, with Sunderland staying compact. He said Wolves needed to create more from outside, as passes inside were crowded by two or three opponents. The quality is there, he added, but finding space was difficult.
