Ykaro Toledo joins Araxá for Mineiro third tier campaign | OneFootball

Araxá Esporte Clube have signed midfielder Ykaro Toledo, 22, for the Segunda Divisão of the Campeonato Mineiro, the third tier of the state competition, according to Globo.com.

He joined Vasco aged seven in 2011. He won Carioca youth titles at under-15, under-17 and under-20 level, and was a runner-up in the Brasileirão Sub-20 in 2021.

He signed a three-year professional contract with Vasco in 2020. It was extended by two years in 2023 before ending in January 2025.

With first-team chances limited, the midfielder moved to Marco in Portugal.

Toledo will represent Araxá from September. The club are in Group B alongside Funorte, São João del Rei, Paracatu, Siderúrgica and Betim B.
