Young Leaders Take Part in Football-Based Health Sessions | OneFootball

Back on the pitch, today’s focus at the Young Leaders Summit was on soccer and community coaching development.

Young Leaders took part in hands-on workshops led by City in the Community coaches, focusing on how soccer can be used to support mental and physical health.

The morning began with energiser games and group coaching activities before diving into sessions exploring themes like teamwork, inclusion, and creating safe spaces. These workshops are designed to give Young Leaders tools they can bring back to their own cities to support youth in their communities.

Throughout the day, Young Leaders shared personal reflections on how their coaching approach is evolving throughout the Summit. A key highlight has been Young Leaders exchanging ideas with peers from different cities and learning about social impact from the CITC coaches.
