Yves Bissouma joins Ajax on deal to end of season after Tottenham exit | OneFootball

Yves Bissouma, a defensive midfielder, has joined Ajax on a contract to the end of the season after leaving Tottenham as a free agent.

The club said in a Wednesday morning statement that he had signed until the end of the season, adding that technical director Jordi Cruyff had tracked him since the summer, welcomed his arrival as experienced and versatile, and hoped he would be available for the team as soon as possible.

Before Tottenham, he had spells with Lille and with Brighton in England.

He joins a squad strengthened over the summer, including arrivals of Morocco international Sofyan Amrabat and German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.

The Mali international is 30.
