Yves Bissouma joins Ajax until the end of the season | OneFootball

Ajax have completed the signing of Malian midfielder Yves Bissouma until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The 30-year-old had been a free agent since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in summer following a spell disrupted by injuries and off-field issues.

Now the former Brighton & Hove Albion man has a chance to impress in the Netherlands with Ajax.

"Discussions with Yves began in August and we are delighted that he has now signed for Ajax," said the club's sporting director, Jordi Cruijff.

"We have brought in an experienced player who knows what it takes to perform at the highest level. He is capable of playing in several positions, and we hope he will be available for selection as soon as possible."

Last season featured just 11 times for Spurs but he did manage to play under all three managers – Thomas Frank, Igor Tudor, and Roberto De Zerbi – in that time.
