Good evening Denis. What are your thoughts after this brilliant match?

We certainly played a fantastic match. We came to Paris to take all three points, so we’re happy with this result and our performance. We know it’s always difficult against them, especially when there’s only a one-goal difference. Balo’s goal definitely did us good and allowed us to breathe a sigh of relief. After that, it was easier to manage.

We're back to the level AS Monaco should be at. We're going to work hard to continue this momentum and try to deliver the best possible performances to maintain this form until the end of the season. We'll take it one game at a time because we've come a long way.

How do you explain this spectacular turnaround?

The start of the season was simply not normal. We’re back to our best, the level AS Monaco should be at. We’re going to work hard to continue this momentum and try to deliver the best possible performances to maintain this form until the end of the season. We’ll take it one game at a time because we’ve come a long way.

Is it frustrating to think you could have beaten PSG in the Champions League?

We knew we could have gone through, but you can’t live with regrets. It was important to us to win, to get a measure of revenge for the last match, and it’s job done. We’re happy with this match and the victory, as I said before. It was also important to finish with 11 men because playing PSG with 10 is difficult. That certainly made the difference.

Good evening Philipp. What’s your state of mind after this fifth win in six matches?

It’s a fantastic feeling, both personally and as a team. We’ve played three matches against Paris recently and performed well each time. Unfortunately, we hadn’t won before, but I think we deserved it today. We’re taking home all three points, which confirms our good run in the league. The standings are very close, we must continue like this.

How do you explain these recent performances?

I think it depends on each player and the entire staff. There’s also a good overall dynamic within the club. Only results matter, so we have to take each match as it comes. We’ve played like this these past few weeks, and we’ll continue like this. The coach has also found the right words and the right tactics, and it shows on the pitch. We also see it in the way we celebrate each goal because we remain united as a team. I think that’s what we lacked mid-season, when things weren’t going very well. Now we’ve found the right formula to work as a team, fight together, and win.

Do you regret not qualifying for the next round of the Champions League after this performance?

We finished with 11 men tonight, so it was a different match. We can’t change the past, but we did our job very well today. Paris also made mistakes, but we were clinical in front of goal, getting most of our shots on target. We also defended as a team and only conceded one goal from a deflected shot. Overall, our defense was very good.

Did you use that elimination as motivation for tonight?

Of course, even though the league is different from the Champions League. We played our third match against them in just a few days. As I said, we also wanted to repay the fans. In the last few matches, we deserved better, but luck wasn’t on our side. Today, we had the same luck with the third goal.
