Zé Rafael out of Santos plans, weighs overseas move after enquiries | OneFootball

Zé Rafael is set to decide his next move in the coming weeks after falling out of Santos’ plans. According to Globo.com, the midfielder has received enquiries and is waiting for the international window to open to speed a departure from Vila Belmiro.

At 33, he is assessing options abroad having spent his entire career in Brazil. His camp expects interest from alternative markets from the 20th, when the international transfer window opens in Brazil. Santos will not complicate his exit.

He has no injury and is keeping fit at CT Rei Pelé, training at different times from Cuca’s main squad.

While targeting an overseas move, he continues to attract domestic enquiries. Clubs such as Inter have recently made contact to understand his situation, but there has been no progress.

He remains under contract with Santos until 31 December 2027.
