Roma have given up their pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee.

The Dutch attacker was for a long while the number one priority to strengthen Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad in January.

However, Manchester United’s demands and management alterations severely delayed negotiations between the two clubs.

According to TeamTalk, Roma officially communicated their decision to withdraw from signing Zirkzee this past weekend.

The Giallorossi reached out to the player’s entourage and informed them of their decision to target other players instead.
