Neymar could still play in the World Cup with Brazil next year. The 33-year-old hasn’t been called up recently due to injury problems, but head coach Carlo Ancelotti insists the door remains open.

"Neymar is among the players who could go to the World Cup. He’s got six months to prove he’s ready," said Ancelotti. The Brazilian star now has to show he still has the quality—and, above all, the fitness—to take part in the tournament. Neymar hasn’t played for the Seleção since October 2023. He’s appeared in three World Cups but has never managed to lift the trophy.
