Neymar knows exactly what he must do to earn a spot in the squad for the next World Cup.

Following his knee injury in October 2023, Neymar has not worn the Brazil shirt since. Will we see him back at the 2026 World Cup? In an interview with L'Equipe, head coach Carlo Ancelotti made his requirements clear.

"A national team must bring together the most talented players. That's obvious, right? But a talented player also needs to be in top physical condition. He has to be at 100 percent, not 80. Neymar is working on getting back to full fitness. He's probably the most talented Brazilian player. He had a minor physical setback but recovered fairly quickly," explained the former Real Madrid manager.
