FC Barcelona is looking to wrap up any pending transfer operations that they can promptly. After all, the sooner they clear up the pending transfers and potential exits, the sooner the club can get to reinvesting their revenue towards other targets that they wish to bring in this summer.

Marc Casado, for instance, is a player who could be out of the club this summer. With a lot of competition present within the midfield thanks to the likes of Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi, and Marc Bernal, Casado has reportedly decided that he needs to be playing more and has understood that he can not be guaranteed minutes in the coming season.

Consequently, according to SPORT, Casado has made up his mind to leave Barcelona this summer. In fact, the report claims that the young midfielder has already told his agent, Jorge Mendes, to start assessing offers from interested clubs and is simply trying to pinpoint the best one for himself.

At the moment, the player prefers to stay in Europe and wants to continue competing at the highest level. While a move to Turkey has reportedly been ruled out, interest from Premier League side Manchester United still seems to be there even though no formal talks have taken place, and certain clubs in Spain have shown an interest in his signing as well.

The likes of Atletico Madrid, Real Betis, and Real Sociedad have all been named as potential suitors in the report, but the established price tag for the player might push them away. Reportedly, La Blaugrana are looking to get around €20 million for the player and are hoping to close the deal before the end of June.

That is because, due to Casado being a La Masia product, all funds collected from his transfer would be considered pure profit. However, beyond just the options in Europe, there also exists the possibility of him moving to Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal reportedly being interested.

The reason as to why this particular move could even potentially be entertained is due to the fact that the player is still young. This means that sooner or later, even if he were to leave Europe for now, the Barcelona academy product could return back to the continent later as well. Interestingly, this particular offer could be worth keeping an eye on considering the fact that the club is still trying to find a solution to sign Joao Cancelo, who remains contracted to the Saudi Arabian club for now.

Ultimately, the player will have to make a decision and is already aware of the demands that Barça has. Unfortunately, while he continues to explore exit options this summer, his fellow La Masia talents are currently shining on the biggest stage that the sport has to offer.
