A journalist apologizes after his attacks on Luis Díaz
Said Amdaa, a Moroccan journalist, has issued an apology after criticizing Luis Díaz on social media.

He had labeled the Colombian as a "criminal" following his foul on Achraf Hakimi and had spoken harshly about the pressure that should be put on him. Amdaa now clarifies that he did not intend to offend Díaz or cause him any trouble. "If my words hurt anyone, I apologize," he stated.
Hakimi, who suffered a severe ankle sprain, will be sidelined for six to eight weeks—a significant blow for Morocco ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
