‘A Real Madrid legend’ – Departing teammate sends message to Kylian Mbappé | OneFootball

Departing Real Madrid star Lucas Vázquez has moved to reveal his appreciation for both the talents and character of Blancos star Kylian Mbappé.

This of course comes fresh off Vázquez bidding farewell to Real Madrid this week.

After spending the entirety of his playing career to date on the books at the Santiago Bernabéu, versatile full-back Vázquez said an emotional goodbye to the capital heavyweights in an official ceremony on Thursday.

Fresh off being granted their long-awaited summer vacations, only a couple of members of Xabi Alonso’s squad managed to make it to the event, organised by Real Madrid themselves.

One such player was the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé, who, despite having only played alongside Vázquez for a year, was keen to pay his respects to a Blancos legend.

After the Frenchman took to social media to unveil a photo of the pair on Friday, Vázquez was in turn quick to reply, writing:

‘So proud to have played together kyky! You will be a Real Madrid legend.’
