According to the report, Carrick remains in close contact with Rashford and has already presented his idea to club officials. The feedback is said to have been positive.

This suddenly leaves it open again as to whether United is actually willing to let its homegrown talent go.

For FC Bayern, this development comes at an inopportune time.

The Munich club is currently evaluating several options for its offense. Following the upcoming transfers of Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown, further reinforcements could follow. Rashford is considered an attractive prospect due to his versatility.

The Englishman can play on both wings as well as up front and would be a perfect fit for Vincent Kompany’s requirements.
