Aaron Danks is likely to lead from the touchline in Paris, with Vincent Kompany suspended for the semi-final first leg against PSG, Bild claims.

Sport Bild reports there is no fixed hierarchy among Kompany’s backroom staff, with no designated number one assistant.

Sport Bild adds that Danks focuses on set pieces and is typically the first assistant to deliver instructions during dead-ball routines.

Sport Bild lists the other responsibilities: Floribert N'Galula, a long-time colleague of Kompany, is heavily involved in training. René Marić leads on tactics, and Daniel Fradley recently arrived from Manchester City as chief analyst.

Danks previously served as Aston Villa’s interim manager for two games, having also worked as an assistant to Unai Emery and Steven Gerrard. He undertook similar duties with Michael Carrick at Middlesbrough and alongside Kompany at Anderlecht.
