HLN are reporting that AC Milan and Club Brugge are nearer to an agreement for Swiss midfielder Ardon Jashari. The midfielder has been keen on a move to Italy, but Club have been keen to ensure they are well compensated for their star man. The Italians have offered a deal that, including bonuses, would rise to around €38m. However, Club are hoping for a deal that will, with bonuses, eventually reach €40m. Clearly things are now close to a deal, and the sides are expected to reach an agreement before the end of the summer window.

Jashari had a fantastic debut season for Club Brugge both domestically and in Europe. It is not surprising that some of the biggest sides in Europe are keen on bringing him in. The 23-year-old, who joined from Swiss side Luzern last summer, scored four goals and provided five assists in 52 games. AC Milan will likely have been impressed with the midfielders performances in the Champions League.
