Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint-Germain nominated for the 2024 African Player of the Year award | OneFootball

The Paris Saint-Germain defender is one of five nominees for the African Player of the Year award for 2024, presented by the Confédération Africaine de Football.

Winner of the Trophée des Champions, the Coupe de France, and the French league title with the club from the capital, he also won the bronze medal with Morocco at this year's Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The red and blue number 2 is up against Simon Adingra (Côte d'Ivoire - Brighton & Hove Albion/ENG), Serhou Guirassy (Guinea - Borussia Dortmund/GER), Ademola Lookman (Nigeria - Atalanta/ITA) and Ronwen Williams (South Africa - Mamelodi Sundowns/SA).

The winner will be announced at the CAF Awards ceremony 2024, which covers the period from January 2024 to October 2024 and rewards performances at club and international level. The ceremony will take place on Monday 16th December in Marrakech, Morocco.
