Two days after the wild AFCON 2025 final, DR Congo, through its football federation, has thrown its support behind the match referee between Senegal and Morocco, Jean-Jacques Ndala.
On Tuesday, the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFA) delivered a message of encouragement and recognition to the Congolese refereeing trio who officiated at AFCON 2025. The federation praised their rigorous match management, composure under pressure, technical mastery, and high standards of refereeing ethics.
FECOFA warmly congratulated the trio for having “honored Congolese refereeing and proudly defended the colors” of the Democratic Republic of Congo. “You have represented our country with distinction in various international competitions where you have been called to officiate,” read the statement signed by the president of the Normalization Committee, Belinda Luntadila Nzuzi.
FECOFA urges these three referees to “continue on this path of excellence” and to “keep representing DR Congo with distinction” in upcoming competitions.
