After FC Porto, Tiago Djaló joins Besiktas

After a season on loan from Juventus to FC Porto, the Portuguese central defender is now moving, for the first time, to Turkey. In his youth, he represented Sporting and Milan, and in senior football, he played for Lille.

Juventus states that they will receive 3.5 million euros (in three installments), plus variable bonuses up to 1 million euros.

Last season he scored two goals in 17 matches for FC Porto. In April, the central defender was excluded from the squad by Martín Anselmi, then coach of the dragons, for alleged lack of professionalism.

Tiago now joins a squad that already includes the Portuguese players Rafa Silva and João Mário.
