Al-Hilal agree deal with West Ham for Crysencio Summerville | OneFootball

Al-Hilal have agreed a deal with West Ham United to sign winger Crysencio Summerville, according to The Athletic.

Both clubs have agreed a deal worth an initial £55 million, with a further £5m in add-ons. The Dutch international is expected to undergo a medical before the move is officially completed.

A long-term contract has already been prepared for the 24-year-old, with only the final paperwork and approvals still required before the transfer is announced.

Summerville has been expected to leave West Ham this summer following the club’s relegation to the Championship.

Despite attracting strong interest from several European clubs, Al-Hilal have moved quickly to sign the talented winger.

AS Roma were among the clubs linked with the forward after submitting an offer worth around €46m (£39.2m) earlier this month.

Manchester United explored the possibility of a move, while Aston Villa were keeping an eye on his situation.

He made 34 appearances across all competitions last season, bagging seven goals and five assists.

Since arriving at the London club in 2024, Summerville has featured 56 times and established himself as one of the team’s most dangerous attacking players.

His performances also earned him a place in the Netherlands squad for the recent FIFA World Cup, despite only making his international debut in a friendly match in June. 

Summerville played in four matches during the tournament, tallying two goals and two assists.

He missed a penalty in the shootout defeat to Morocco in the round of 32, but his overall performances raised his profile on the international stage.

Summerville is the latest player to leave West Ham following Mateus Fernandes’ stunning £85m move to Tottenham Hotspur.
