Manchester United and Juventus will have to compete against at least two teams to put their hands on Victor Osimhen in the summer, as Al-Hilal are ready to join the fray, and Galatasaray will attempt to keep him past his stellar loan spell.

According to TalkSport, the Saudi side will court the Nigerian striker after missing out on Mohamed Salah. The offer to lure him will be almost the same. The Napoli star has had more than a flirtation with such a league in the past, although the deal didn’t go through in the end.

Al-Hilal and Galatasaray could have a timing advantage over Juventus and Manchester United in the Osimhen scrum. The Middle Eastern franchise could strike early and try to onboard him ahead of the Club World Cup.

While the Red Devils have been routinely linked, they are unlikely to activate his €75M release clause, Calciomercato informs. They are willing to satisfy his demands salary-wise, but the early contacts suggest they’d offer only about €45M to Napoli. The Partenopei would eventually lower their request only deep into the summer. Moreover, the Premier League outfit is prioritizing Matheus Cunha and Liam Delap up front, Fabrizio Romano reports.

Our Take on Osimhen, Juventus, Manchester United, and Al-Hilal

A bidding war and exotic club splurging on him early would be the best-case scenario for Napoli. However, it shouldn’t be taken for granted that they’d match the fixed sum, as Saudi teams use a lot of their ammo to convince the players to join rather than on the fees.
