Sky Germany reports that Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr is interested in VfB Stuttgart defender Jeff Chabot.
Al-Nassr are looking for alternatives for the central defence position following the collapsed move of Feyenoord defender David Hancko earlier this week.
There is said to have been initial contact between Chabot and the Saudi-Arabian side.
Chabot only joined Stuttgart last summer from 1.FC Köln. Since then, the 27-year-old has been at the heart of a youthful Swabian defence that went on to win the DFB Pokal this season. Due to his performances, the central defender has already begun to attract interest from other teams, with Juventus strongly linked to Chabot in recent weeks.
Stuttgart will want to avoid a similar summer to last year, where they lost Serhou Guirassy, Waldemar Anton and Hiroki Ito. This summer, Enzo Millot looks set to leave the club, while the future of Nick Woltemade is a constant talking point.
If Stuttgart can minimise their departures, they can then build upon their Pokal win and fight for the top four once again.
