Al-Nassr stance on Arsenal target Rodrygo revealed | OneFootball

Al-Nassr are not set to rival Arsenal for the signing of Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.

The Saudi Pro League side have been linked with signing Rodrygo as the club look to land a marquee winger this summer.

However, interest from Al-Nassr has been described by Fabrizio Romano as ‘wide of the mark’ with the Brazilian uninterested in the Saudi Pro League at this stage of his career.

Rodrygo is assessing his options with the 24-year-old unsettled at Real Madrid but is focused on European football.

Arsenal continue to be linked with a deal to sign Rodrygo as Mikel Arteta looks to overhaul his forward line. The Gunners are closing in on the signing of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres and want to add another wide player before the end of the transfer window.

Rodrygo has been described as the ‘dream target’ for the North London side and is valued at around €90m (£77.5m) at the Bernabeu. He has featured predominantly from the right in the Spanish capital and wants to increase his minutes in a preferred left-wing role.

The winger has featured for just 92 minutes during Real Madrid’s run to the Club World Cup semi-finals, starting only one game.

Movement on his future is expected following the conclusion of the tournament. Real Madrid face Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals this evening.
