Al Rayyan, Austin and Cincinnati ‘make enquiries’ for Pulgar | OneFootball

Erick Pulgar is recovering from injury and, despite missing recent matches, could leave Flamengo after interest from abroad.

RTI Esportes reports that Al Rayyan, Austin and Cincinnati have made enquiries for the Chilean midfielder, though neither the player nor Flamengo has received a formal bid.

His release clause will drop to four million dollars, 19.9 million reais at current rates, in mid-year, which has kept overseas clubs alert.

Pulgar injured the acromioclavicular joint in his right shoulder against Red Bull Bragantino and has been under the care of the club’s medical staff. He is now in rehabilitation work on the pitch with physios and fitness coaches.

He is expected to return to Flamengo action later in May.

Cincinnati are interested in signing Santos forward Neymar, who is seen as the main target of a project to win MLS soon.

Flamengo face Vasco on Sunday 03 at 16:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã in the 14th round of the Brasileiro.
