Real Madrid will lock horns with Getafe at the Coliseum Stadium this Sunday afternoon as they look to earn a good result on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win over Villarreal before the international break, which should keep them in high spirits ahead of this clash.

Xabi Alonso will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation once again, but will be forced to make one tweak to his first team for this game. David Alaba could play from the start of this game because Dean Huijsen is currently sidelined due to a muscle injury.

Defence

Thibaut Courtois will function in between the sticks for Los Blancos after conceding one goal in his last appearance. Eder Militao will operate alongside David Alaba at the heart of Real Madrid‘s defence as they hope to maintain a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Federico Valverde will once again fill in as the right-back, while Alvaro Carreras hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Raul Asencio will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Dani Ceballos and Aurelian Tchouameni will operate as the holding midfielders as they try to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Vinicius Junior, Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono will play just ahead of them as part of the Real Madrid attack. All three of them need to move the ball well if the Madrid giants are to secure a comfortable win this weekend.

Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second half if required.

Attack

Kylian Mbappe will lead the line for Real Madrid in the final third. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet and make a difference for Los Blancos once again up top.
