Alajbegovic back on Milan radar after Atalanta stall and Karetsas courted | OneFootball

With Atalanta failing to agree a deal for Kerim Alajbegovic with Bayer Leverkusen, and Borussia Dortmund pushing for Konstantino Karetsas, Milan could be back in for the Bosnian.

The transfer market is in full swing and every club has a long list of potential targets, which is constantly being reshuffled amid developments.

Alajbegovic and Karetsas both on Milan list

Atalanta had last week seemed to be on the verge of securing Bosnia and Herzegovina winger Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen, after his immensely impressive spell with RB Salzburg.

However, several days passed and there is no progress, with Calciomercato and Radio Bruno claiming the €30m plus bonus valuation is too high.

This could allow other clubs back into the race, including Milan and Fiorentina.

Most notably, the Rossoneri saw Alajbegovic as the alternative to their first choice, Genk and Greece international talent Karetsas.

Now Sky Sports Deutschland report that Karetsas is increasingly likely to join Borussia Dortmund, who saw their first offer of €30m rejected.

Milan are slowed by the need to first find a buyer for Rafael Leao, with very few genuine proposals coming in that he would consider.
