Mirandés forward Alberto Marí is set to miss at least one month after suffering a hamstring injury.

He was hurt in the meeting with Ceuta two rounds ago, and subsequent tests confirmed a myotendinous injury in the long head of his left hamstring. The forward is on loan from Valencia.

He did not train with the group last week and was left out of the squad for Saturday’s provincial derby at Burgos’s El Plantío.

The club said in a statement that his recovery time depends on how the injury progresses. Marí has already begun rehabilitation with the medical and physiotherapy staff.

Such injuries typically require between three weeks and three months out, depending on severity. Mild cases can clear in two to three weeks, while moderate ones can take up to eight. More severe damage can mean three months or longer and may require surgery.
