Alfredo Pedulla insists Inter Milan hold Ange-Yoan Bonny in high esteem and want to sign him along with two other Parma stars.

Pedulla told The Italian Football Podcast that the Nerazzurri keep track of Giovanni Leoni and Adrien Bernabe.

For Bonny, the situation looks like an open-and-shut case.

However, it’s now up to Inter to convince Parma to green-light the transfer.

Meanwhile, the Crusaders are holding out for their €25 million asking price.

Despite Bonny’s breakout season in Serie A, the price seems a bit exaggerated when factoring in his scoring output.

Although Parma’s season-long struggles in the lower reaches shoulder part of the blame, a six-goal tally isn’t exactly enviable.

Yet, the 21-year-old has ample room for improvement and could prove a massive coup for the future.

“Bonny is the first on the list. Inter want him to be an heir to Thuram,” Pedulla said. “An alter ego of Thuram. Bonny is liked a lot.

“They’ve been talking for Bonny for at least a month. Inter have gone to see him several times and the reports have been excellent.

“Inter are in the lead for Bonny. They must find the right timing to move for him.

“Then a few days ago there was a dinner in Milan, which we also documented with images.”

Meanwhile, Pedulla also confirmed Inter’s interest in Giovanni Leoni.

“Between Inter and Parma, everyone likes Leoni, class of 2006,  Inter asked for him, he costs twenty-five million.

“Parma would not like to sell him this year.

“According to Parma, he is a central defender who, if he does another year here, now he is €25m but in a year he will be €40m.”

Finally, he took stock of Adrien Bernabe’s future.

“Playing consistently, he is liked by Inter, he is liked by Milan, he is liked by Juve, but Inter tried seriously and they asked for Bernabé.

“Because he is a classic midfielder that, since they could lose Asslani, they have signed Sucic.

“However, there is Hakan Calhanoglu we are not sure about. So they would need an alternative.

“Bernabé is a great talent who can play mezzala, he can play trequartista, he can play as an outside attacker.”

Final Verdict

It’s a near-certainty that Inter and Parma will do business this summer.

Whether it’s just Bonny or a double swoop, the Nerazzurri will reunite Cristian Chivu with at least one former associate.

“With Parma, between Inter and Parma, they will work together on transfer deals,” Pedulla added.

“The first deal is Bonny and maybe there may be players of Inter going the other way because Inter have many players that Parma like.”
