After several weeks of uncertainty, Ismaël Bennacer can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Algerian international midfielder, who suffered a hamstring injury during AFCON, has completed his rehabilitation at Aspetar in Qatar and recently resumed training. Back in Zagreb, he is now entering the final phase of his recovery.

According to the Croatian press, the player on loan at Dinamo Zagreb could make his official return to competition in about ten days, during the match against Slaven Koprivnica.

This timeline would allow him to gradually regain match fitness ahead of the next Algerian national team camp, led by Vladimir Petkovic—an important step on the road to the 2026 World Cup.
