Algeria's two opponents before heading to Morocco for the AFCON!

The Algerian national team continues its preparations in earnest ahead of the upcoming international fixtures. As part of the November FIFA window, Vladimir Petkovic’s men will hold a training camp in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from November 10 to 19, 2025. This gathering, a key element in the ongoing project led by the head coach, aims to strengthen squad cohesion and fine-tune tactical automatisms ahead of AFCON 2025.

During this camp, the Fennecs will play two friendly matches. The first will take place on November 13 at 5:30 p.m. against Zimbabwe, a side renowned for its physical commitment and tactical discipline. Five days later, on November 18 at the same time, Algeria will go up against Saudi Arabia, a team steadily making its mark on the Asian football scene. Both clashes will be held in Jeddah, in conditions similar to those the Fennecs will experience during the Africa Cup of Nations.

Vladimir Petkovic intends to use these matches to conduct a broad squad review and test several promising young talents ahead of the final squad selection for AFCON. This Jeddah training camp promises to be a crucial step in the Algerian national team’s build-up.
