Currently sidelined by injury at Liverpool, but virtually guaranteed a place at the World Cup, Alisson may already have played his final game in English football. The Brazil national team goalkeeper is a target for Juventus and has the door open to negotiate a return to Italian football.

An icon with the Anfield faithful, Alisson still enjoys unquestionable status there. But recurring fitness issues have reduced his prominence at the club. The last season in which he managed to play more than 40 matches was 2022/23, when he featured in goal in 47 of the Reds' 52 games.

Alisson made his name in Italy as AS Roma's goalkeeper. It was there where he earned international recognition, which later grew at Liverpool, lifting him into the bracket of the world's best goalkeepers.

Juventus are looking for a replacement for 28-year-old Michele Di Gregorio. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, they want more experienced names in the squad. They have already reportedly made enquiries about Alisson, with an initial positive contact.

Currently, there is no concrete offer so negotiations would still need to progress a long way, including with Liverpool although the Brazilian has just one year left on his contract in England.
