Max Allegri has still not managed to negotiate an exit agreement from his Milan contract, so Napoli are getting irritated and reportedly set a deadline.

Milan sacked Allegri the day after he failed to qualify for the Champions League, also dismissing CEO Giorgio Furlani, director of sport Igli Tare and technical director Geoffrey Moncada.
However, the coach remains under contract until June 2027 and has to terminate it by mutual consent before he can take on a new job at Napoli.

That is proving more difficult than expected, as after reports of a legal battle were shrugged off, it seemed that the club and coach were ready to shake hands early this week.
Instead, it is dragging on, with Calciomercato suggesting the sticking point is that Allegri wants €2m for himself to terminate early, plus a further €3m to pay off his staff.
RedBird patron Gerry Cardinale is refusing to pay so much to get rid of coaching staff that he fired for failing to achieve their targets.
Sport Mediaset claim that Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is increasingly irritated with the situation, and set a deadline of seven days from now.
If it is not resolved by then, he could threaten to look at other potential coaches at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona instead.
