There are signs that a promising talent is leaving FC Bayern this winter. Several clubs are interested in a Munich player.

According to information from the BILD podcast „Bayern Insider“, Adin Licina is expected to leave the record champions as early as January.

According to the report, the 18-year-old is on the list of several European clubs – including clubs from Portugal, Italy, England and the Netherlands. According to the report, Bayern itself is in favour of the move because Licina should gain match practice at a higher level. At the same time, those responsible would like to secure a buy-back clause or a right of first refusal in order to remain able to act in the further course of the attacker’s career.

Licina has been regarded as one of the most promising talents from the Bayern academy for years. The left-footer came through several youth teams and impressed with strong numbers last season. He appeared in ten competitive matches for the second team, scoring one goal and setting up five goals. He also played in the UEFA Youth League, where he collected additional scoring points. Despite his development, the attacking player no longer sees any long-term prospects in Munich.

Licina sees no prospects at FC Bayern

It had previously become known that Licina had doubts about the record champions. According to Sky, the attacker no longer believed that he could make a permanent move to the professional team. Although Bayern would have liked to offer the U19 international a new contract, the youngster was already planning the next step in his career. His current contract expires in the summer of 2026 – an early winter transfer would therefore prevent the club from losing another talent on a free transfer.

It is not surprising that there is no shortage of interested parties. In addition to several Bundesliga clubs – including Augsburg – second division clubs are also said to have recently come knocking. The international market has now become even broader: clubs from Europe’s top leagues are examining whether Licina can help immediately or be developed in the long term.

The situation is very reminiscent of previous cases in which Bayern talents left the club without any real prospects – sometimes with considerable success. Kenan Yildiz got off to a flying start at Juventus, Angelo Stiller later became a top performer in Stuttgart. For Licina, the move in January would offer one thing above all: the chance to play regularly at a high level. This would hardly have been realistic at Bayern in the near future.
