Álvaro Arbeloa eyeing deal for another Real Madrid starlet | OneFootball

Former Real Madrid head coach Álvaro Arbeloa is keen to reunite with an up-and-coming member of the midfield ranks in Spain’s capital for next season.

This comes amid the understanding that the Spanish tactician wants his new employers, Fulham, to bring César Palacios to the English capital.

Palacios, for his part, is a 21-year-old midfielder, whose name will likely be familiar to those of a Real Madrid persuasion.

The starlet spent much of last season in and around the first-team setup at Valdebebas, culminating in six senior appearances between La Liga and the Champions League.

And his efforts, both at academy level and under the bright lights of the Bernabéu, evidently proved enough to thoroughly impress one of Palacios’ former managers.

As per a report from Diario AS late this week:

‘Arbeloa has made several requests to the Cottagers’ management. His latest request was to explore the possibility of signing Castilla player César Palacios.’

With the Spanish starlet widely expected to be farmed out on loan for next season, a reunion with Arbeloa at Craven Cottage is not at all out of the question for Palacios.
