Amadou Haidara on his way to Ligue 1

Amadou Haidara is set for a club change. The 27-year-old Malian midfielder is expected to leave RB Leipzig to join RC Lens in Ligue 1.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Haidara has already signed a contract with Lens until 2029. The transfer will be officially confirmed at the start of the next transfer window in January. Until then, he will remain focused on international duty for the Africa Cup of Nations.

The transfer fee is estimated at €3 million, plus some bonuses. At Leipzig, Haidara was no longer in the club’s plans: he hasn’t played a single match this season and his contract is set to expire at the end of the campaign.
