An Ibrox Noise Statement

Every so often Ibrox Noise’s content is greeted by a raging Rangers fan, spewing hate over the views and claiming the site, which was founded in November 2011, is run by Celtic fans.

Now, we agree that lot are obsessed, but we’re not sure how obsessed you have to be to actually produce the amount of Rangers content Ibrox Noise do if you’re a tim.

99% of our audience are in no doubt we’re Rangers fans – but it does always amuse us when a visitor doesn’t like an article and smears us as the dark side as a result.

If there is one thing Rangers fans never do about our club it’s mock – yes, we might use some self-depracating humour about our plight, but actually taking the kind of pleasure and delight a raging tim troll like Sutton does with his social media mockery couldn’t be further away from our output.

We’re fuming. Simple as that. We are fuming with how bad our team is, how bad our manager is, and the fact we’re 5 points behind before October starts.

One such raging fan came on today and whined at the negative output, calling us every name under the sun and demanding to be banned – his own comments seemed a lot more toxic than anything Ibrox Noise has ever said.

But it’s a recurring pattern.

When Rangers are winning, everything is great and Ibrox Noise gets to report on how fantastic we are. 55 and the journey to Sevilla were amazing, let me tell you.

All the celebrations, all the joy, and all the goodwill at getting to the Europa final and securing our 55th title. Outstanding.

During those times, not a single fan rants that we’re tims.

It’s only when things get negative, the team falls to pieces, the players can barely tie their own shoelaces and the manager barks garbage at the press, that Ibrox Noise reports all this with honesty and gets labelled a ‘tim site’.

It’s just part of the deal.

We’re not moaning. We do appreciate and respect the privilege on talking about and reporting our team 24/7. It’s an honour to have a huge community who (mostly) behave themselves and enjoys our content. We respect and humbly appreciate everyone who consumes what we do.

But we will add that that little minority really do let themselves down quite horribly as well, and we’ll never stop being called all sorts of names by such people.

It won’t stop us continuing though.
