As a club that continues to be on the up in recent seasons, Aston Villa are increasingly in the spotlight in England as they battle the upper echelons of the Premier League.
It was not always a fight for the top four places and locking horns with the European elite on a weeknight at Villa Park over the last two decades, however, as the club would struggle for survival while tackling relegation in a period between 2011-2022.
But for a few years prior, three consecutive seasons saw the club finish sixth in the league while reestablishing itself as a credible force in the English top flight, with academy product Andreas Weimann having a hand in it along the way.
Recently sitting down with Villa's media team, the former Austrian international featured in its "My Villa Moment" series, with Weimann retelling his favourite memory while at the club.
The moment? A match-winner at Villa Park against eventual Premier League winners Manchester City.
"There’s a famous picture where I’m stood in front of The Holte End with my arms out celebrating. You see me from behind and you just see all the fans in The Holte End going wild."
He wasn't the greatest to ever put on the shirt, but he will forever be fondly remembered in those parts.
