Anfield Index and EPL Index have confirmed an extension of their partnership with LibertyShield VPN, reinforcing a relationship that has become increasingly collaborative over time.
To most users, Anfield Index and EPL Index operate as a unified platform, covering Liverpool and wider Premier League analysis. That shared identity is reflected in this agreement, which applies across both sites and their growing network of podcasts, video contemt, written content and digital tools.
Founder Gags Tandon explained that the decision to extend was straightforward.
“We have worked with LibertyShield for a number of years now, and the relationship has naturally evolved. It is no longer just about sponsorship, it is about collaboration across multiple areas of the business.”
That collaboration spans marketing strategy, design input and technical infrastructure. While much of this work sits behind the scenes, it has influenced how both platforms operate and scale.
Tandon highlighted the importance of working with partners who understand audience behaviour.
“Our audience is global and highly engaged. That creates both opportunity and complexity. Having a partner that understands digital access, performance and user expectations makes a tangible difference.”
LibertyShield’s involvement has extended into areas such as site performance optimisation and user experience discussions, reflecting a broader shift in how media platforms approach partnerships.
Greg Murphy, CTO at LibertyShield, noted that the relationship has been shaped by shared priorities.
“There is a strong alignment between our teams. We are all focused on delivering a reliable, accessible experience to users, regardless of where they are. That common ground has made it easy to build something more meaningful over time.”
For Anfield Index and EPL Index, the extension also provides continuity. As the platforms continue to expand their content output and audience reach, maintaining stable and trusted partnerships becomes increasingly important.
There is also a recognition that modern digital platforms rarely operate in isolation. The integration of services, whether through technology or content distribution, is now part of the landscape.
Tandon added:
“We see this as a long term collaboration. It is about sharing expertise, supporting each other’s growth and making sure we continue to improve what we offer to our audience.”
From a user perspective, the impact is likely to be gradual rather than immediate. Improvements in performance, accessibility and overall experience tend to be incremental, but they are no less important for that.
The extended partnership reflects that approach. It is less about headline announcements and more about sustained development behind the scenes.
For both Anfield Index and EPL Index, it reinforces a commitment to evolving the platform while maintaining the core focus on high quality football content.
