Another Real Madrid star targeted with ‘die’ chants vs Getafe | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at Real Madrid was subjected to a disgusting round of chants on the part of the Getafe crowd during the meeting between the sides on Wednesday.

Real Madrid of course made the short trip across Spain’s capital a short time ago, for a La Liga meeting with Getafe.

When all was said and done, Los Blancos emerged on the right side of a hard-fought 1-0 result, owing to a solitary strike on the part of youngster Arda Güler.

As alluded to above, though, along the way, one member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad found himself the target of a frankly disgraceful round of crowd chants.

After Raúl Asencio came in for similar earlier this season, Dani Ceballos, upon being introduced to proceedings off the bench, was met by calls of:

‘Ceballos, die!’

A stadium announcement quickly followed, before the coaches of both teams were pulled in for a discussion by the team of officials, too.

Thankfully, the chants are understood to have relented at this point.
