This comes amid confirmation that the attacker considers his long-term future as increasingly away from the Spotify Camp Nou.
Ansu was of course granted a fresh departure from Barcelona last summer.
Out of favour under the watch of Blaugrana boss Hansi Flick, the Spaniard put pen to paper on a season-long loan deal with Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
And though his time in France has since proven to be somewhat hit and miss, all told, Ansu’s numbers in the final third have been more than solid.
The 23-year-old has racked up 10 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions to date.
And if the latest comments on the part of his father are anything to go by, then Ansu appears keen to continue plying his trade in the colours of Monaco into next season and beyond.
Drawn on his son’s future during an exchange with the media, as cited by Fabrizio Romano, over the last 24 hours, Bori Fati explained:
“We don’t know. We’d like Ansu to stay at Monaco, he’s happy there. He’s still under contract at Barça until June 2028 so we will see.”
