Arokodare to join Wolves pre-season camp despite exit talks | OneFootball

Tolu Arokodare will join his Wolves team-mates on pre-season despite ongoing talks over a move. ExpressAndStar.com understands that he will link up with the squad at their warm-weather training camp.

The striker did not travel with the group at the start of the week as Wolves flew out, amid interest from other clubs. He has been training individually away from the squad.

Loan proposals from Fiorentina and Trabzonspor have been rejected, and it is understood Arokodare favours a switch to Italy. Talks between the clubs over a potential deal are continuing.

With no agreement yet, he is due to fly out tonight, Thursday, to join team-mates for the final two days of the trip. He will train with the group on Friday while discussions over his future remain active.

The reason for his inclusion is a minor calf injury sustained by Adam Armstrong, which has kept him out of training for the last few days. Arokodare is needed to bolster numbers and give Cesar Peixoto more options.

Wolves signed Arokodare for around £24 million last summer, and he scored three Premier League goals. He is still expected to leave the club this summer.
